Hugo Dello Sbarba, P.Eng., M.Sc.

Founder & Principal Mine Ventilation Engineer

Hugo has more than fifteen years of experience dedicated to mine ventilation, including four years supporting underground mine operations and eight years leading a specialized ventilation engineering team.

His work covers ventilation modelling and simulation, system design, ventilation on demand, thermal analysis, heat recovery, field verification and troubleshooting. He holds a mechanical engineering degree with an HVAC specialization from Concordia University and a Master of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from Université Laval.

He has authored or co-authored more than seven scientific publications in mine ventilation and works in English, French and Spanish.

Thomas Bohdal, P.Eng.

Senior Mine Ventilation Engineer

Thomas brings more than nine years of mine ventilation experience in addition to five years in mine operations, including operational engineering and dedicated underground ventilation responsibilities.

His expertise includes life-of-mine ventilation planning, feasibility analysis, network modelling, scenario simulation, ventilation-on-demand studies, equipment trade-offs and troubleshooting. He combines operating-mine experience with engineering management and consulting perspectives.

Thomas holds a Mining Engineering degree from McGill University and works in English and French.

Sean Lanthier, CEP

Engineering Candidate · Mine Ventilation

Sean is a mining engineering graduate with consulting and field experience in underground ventilation. He has a strong understanding of Canadian ventilation standards, ventilation equipment and network modelling.

His work includes model development, site measurements, ventilation audits and field model calibration. He is proficient with specialist ventilation design software and supports engineering studies from data review through field verification.

Sean holds a Mining Engineering degree from McGill University and works in English and French.

Engineering Candidate · Mine Ventilation

Émile is a mining engineering graduate with practical experience in underground operations, engineering studies and recurring field support for operating ventilation systems.

He specializes in ventilation equipment—including fans, heaters and instrumentation—and in diagnosing fan-pressure and system-performance issues. His experience also includes ventilation feasibility studies, onsite surveys and troubleshooting.

Émile holds a Mining Engineering degree from Polytechnique Montréal and works in English and French.
